Nathaniel "Nat" Christian, a talented individual with a passion for filmmaking, began his journey by studying the craft in college. He soon gained recognition for his acting skills, receiving critical acclaim and awards for his performances in local plays and soap operas such as "General Hospital", "The Young and the Restless", and "Days of Our Lives".
Nat's big break came when Jerry Orbach, a renowned actor, read one of his screenplays and offered to star in the lead role. This led to the production of "California Casanova" (1991),a film that Nat directed and produced. He then went on to direct and produce another feature, the zany comedy "Club Fed" (MGM Home Video).
In the years that followed, Nat continued to make a name for himself in the film industry. He wrote, directed, and produced "For Heaven's Sake" (2008),a heartwarming film starring Florence Henderson. He also directed, produced, and appeared in "Channels" (2008),a thought-provoking film that explored existential themes and featured an impressive cast, including Ed Asner, Kim Oja, John Kassir, Taylor Negron, and Joan Van Ark.
Nat's most recent project, "Monday Morning" (2012),was a sociopolitical drama that tackled tough issues such as homelessness and politics. The film received a limited theatrical release and was met with mixed reviews, with some viewers finding it too graphic and others praising its unflinching portrayal of reality. Despite this, "Monday Morning" won the "Best Feature Film Award" at the Long Island Film Festival and was an official selection at several other festivals.
In addition to his work in film, Nat has also written and consulted on several other projects, including "The Duke" (Buena Vista) and "700 Hill" (Monterrey Pictures),which is currently in development.
In his personal life, Nat has been married twice, first to Cristina Christian, with whom he had two daughters, and then to Charlotte Christian, whom he married in 2014. The couple currently resides in both Los Angeles and Minneapolis.
