Nathan Lynn is a South African actor who holds dual citizenship in both South Africa and the United Kingdom, reflecting his diverse cultural background.
Nathan spent a significant portion of his childhood living abroad, experiencing different cultures and environments. He spent two years living in a remote part of Tanzania before returning to South Africa to start formal schooling, where he attended a local school.
Later, his family relocated to Bangalore, India, where Nathan attended The Canadian International School. He spent six years in India, immersed in the local culture and education system, before returning to South Africa to finish his high school education at Cornwall Hill College in Pretoria.
Nathan's interest in drama developed during his school days, where he actively participated in school plays. After graduating from high school, he initially considered studying journalism at Rhodes University but was encouraged by his parents to audition for the University of Cape Town's Theatre and Performance program. Only after being accepted did he decide to pursue a career in acting.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2014 and began working in small theatre productions in Cape Town. Nathan's talent was recognized when he was nominated for a Fleur Du Cap award for most promising student in 2015. He has also performed at the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown, South Africa, and received a Standard Bank Ovation award in 2015 for his work in "Raiders!" with Nicholas Ellenbogen.
Nathan's television career began with a small guest appearance in "Dominion" (2015). He has since secured prominent roles in "Deep Blue Sea 2" (2018),"The Kissing Booth" (2018),and "The Last Days of American Crime" (2020).
Currently, Nathan is based in Vancouver, Canada, where he continues to pursue his acting career.
