Born in the year 1980, in the municipality of Mollet del Vallès, a region situated in the province of Barcelona, within the autonomous community of Catalonia, Spain.
She subsequently pursued and earned a degree in the fields of editing and filmmaking from the prestigious Pompeu Fabra University, a renowned institution of higher education located in the city of Barcelona.
Her initial foray into the world of filmmaking was marked by the creation of several short films, including "The Granddad with a Movie Camera" and "Immersion", which garnered a plethora of accolades and recognition from around the globe.
Her maiden feature-length film, titled "La Plaga" or "The Plague", made its world premiere at the illustrious Berlinale film festival in the year 2013, and subsequently earned a nomination for the esteemed European Film Awards in the category of European Discovery.
