Nicole's early life was characterized by a sense of isolation and quiet contemplation, as she grew up as a solitary child within the confines of a suburban Ontario community, where the tranquility of her surroundings allowed her to nurture a profound fascination with the world of theatrical arts, and simultaneously, her curiosity about the art of photography began to take root, slowly blossoming into a passion that would eventually shape her identity and inform her creative pursuits.
As her interests and passions continued to mature and diversify over time, she found herself compelled to take a bold and courageous step, one that would forever alter the trajectory of her life, by leaving behind the familiar comforts and surroundings of her hometown and embarking on a transformative journey to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in the dynamic and rapidly evolving field of film production at the esteemed Ryerson University, a renowned institution that would provide her with the ideal environment to hone her creative skills, challenge her artistic boundaries, and cultivate a deep understanding of the technical and theoretical aspects of filmmaking.
As Nicole's academic pursuits came to a close, she fixed her gaze on the City of Angels, where she has since flourished as a versatile writer and director, cutting a wide swath through the vibrant and ever-changing film landscape of Los Angeles.
