Hailing from Busan Metropolitan City, South Korea, this talented artist spent his formative years in Gimhae, South Gyeongsang Province, where he had the opportunity to attend Gimhae Gyeongwon High School and hone his craft.
Nine's journey in high school began with a brief stint in the broadcasting club, where he took a chance and auditioned, only to be met with disappointment and rejection. This initial setback, however, did not deter him from pursuing his creative interests. Undeterred, Nine opted to audition for the dance club, a decision that would ultimately have a profound impact on his life.

Subsequently, Nine decided to transfer to Gyeonggi High School, where he completed his secondary education, earning his diploma and cementing his academic credentials.
Nine's journey to stardom began in 2016 when a friend in his social circle introduced him to the esteemed BlockBerryCreative agency in Seoul, South Korea. This chance encounter sparked a chain of events that would ultimately lead to Nine's realization of his long-held ambition. With unwavering dedication and perseverance, Nine poured his heart and soul into his craft, putting in countless hours of hard work and training.
Years went by, and Nine's relentless pursuit of his dreams finally paid off when he was selected as a member of the talented group OnlyOneOf. The moment of truth arrived on May 28, 2019, as Nine and his fellow group members released their debut 1st mini album "dot point jump", marking a triumphant milestone in Nine's career.
