Oliver Richman is a multi-talented individual who has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry. He is a graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama and was recognized as a University Honors Scholar.
As a student at NYU, Oliver was involved in various projects, including being a member and assistant music director for the award-winning a cappella group, N'Harmonics. He also produced, directed, wrote, and performed in multiple projects for the university.
Oliver's film short, "Chasing Time," won multiple Telly Awards in 2021 and was a finalist in the 2021 New York Cinematography Awards. The film showcases Oliver's skills as a writer, director, lyricist, composer, editor, and music arranger.
In addition to his film work, Oliver has also appeared on stage and on television. He has released multiple singles and several music videos, and has performed leading roles in several musicals and numerous live theatrical productions.
Oliver's early start in the entertainment industry began when he was just nine years old, with his debut video of "Defying Gravity" going viral on YouTube. At ten years old, he was personally invited by Stevie Wonder to share the stage at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, where he received a standing ovation from over 7,500 people.
Oliver has also been featured on Byron Allen's "The Young Icons," a nationally syndicated show about young people changing the world. He appeared in NBC's pilot of "Mr. Robinson," starring Craig Robinson, and has performed in numerous live theatrical productions.
Oliver comes from a long line of entertainers, writers, and performers. His grandfather, Ron Miller, was a legendary songwriter who wrote standards such as "For Once in My Life," "Touch Me in the Morning," "Place in the Sun," and many others. Oliver's paternal grandfather, Peter Mark Richman, starred in over 500 television shows and films. His mother, Lisa Dawn Miller, is a producer, singer/songwriter, and director, and his stepfather, Sandy Hackett, is a comedian/actor.
Oliver's passion for the arts began at a young age, and he has been acting and singing on stage, television, and for film since he was four years old. He made his film debut in "Man Overboard" and was actively involved in his high school's Drama department, serving as the President of the Diagramming Club.
