Owen Hart was born into a remarkable Canadian wrestling dynasty, being one of twelve siblings. His brother Bret, also an accomplished wrestler, is widely recognized as one of the most renowned figures in the sport. Owen, himself, was an exceptional grappler, boasting an impressive array of achievements throughout his career. Notably, he was crowned the 1994 King of the Ring, held the Intercontinental Championship on two separate occasions, and claimed the European Championship title. Additionally, he co-held the Tag Team Championship a total of four times.
Despite his remarkable accomplishments, Owen's life was tragically cut short on May 23, 1999, when he suffered a fatal accident during a pay-per-view event. The incident occurred while he was performing a daring entrance, and he was just 34 years old at the time of his passing. Owen is survived by his loving wife, Martha, as well as his two children, Oje and Athena.
