Patina Miller is a talented actress and singer, currently starring as "Raquel Thomas" in the STARZ series Power Book III: Raising Kanan. She previously played the role of "Daisy Grant" in the CBS drama series Madam Secretary.
Miller made her feature film debut in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 and reprised her role in the final installment of the series, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2.
On Broadway, Miller has starred in the revival of Stephen Schwartz's musical Pippin, earning a Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical. She has also appeared in the stage adaptation of Sister Act, earning a Tony nomination.
Miller has performed in multiple off-Broadway productions, including Ragtime, Lost in the Stars, and Romantic Poetry. She has also appeared in the Public Theater's production of Hair and has participated in workshops for various musicals.
Prior to her theater credits, Miller appeared in the daytime soap opera All My Children. She has performed her solo concert at the Kennedy Center and made her New York City debut as part of Lincoln Center Theater's American Songbook series.
Miller received a degree in musical theater from Carnegie Mellon University and currently resides in New York City.
