Patti's existence commenced in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where her paternal figure, an accomplished draftsman, and her maternal figure, a devoted registered nurse, nurtured her growth.
Patti's educational journey was marked by a series of notable milestones, commencing at Azalea Middle School where she distinguished herself as an active member of the majorettes, developing her coordination and teamwork skills in the process.
As she progressed to high school, Patti attended Boca Ciega High School, where she continued to excel, both academically and extracurricularly. She was an integral part of the school's band, showcasing her musical talents and dedication to the art form. Moreover, her popularity was evident as she was nominated to be on the Homecoming Court, a testament to her social standing and leadership abilities.
However, Patti's academic pursuits led her to transfer to Northside Christian High School, where she continued to thrive. Her extracurricular activities remained diverse, encompassing membership in the chorus, where she honed her vocal skills, and participation in the symphonic band, where she played the oboe, demonstrating her versatility and range as a musician. Additionally, she contributed to the marching band's percussion section, utilizing her rhythmic talents to enhance the overall performance.
Patti's academic achievements culminated in her senior year, where she was recognized for her outstanding academic record by being chosen for the National Honor Society. Furthermore, she earned the prestigious title of "Business Student of the Year", a testament to her academic prowess and dedication to her studies.
Pursuing higher education, Patti obtained an Associate of Arts degree in the vibrant city of Miami, Florida, marking the beginning of a successful journey in the field of cosmetology. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for making people look and feel their best, she took on the challenge of managing not one, but two esteemed hair salons, where she honed her skills and built a reputation as a master stylist. Additionally, Patti's talents didn't go unnoticed, as she was invited to work as a freelance makeup artist for the renowned television program, Good Morning America, on location, further solidifying her status as a respected and sought-after professional in the industry.
Patti, a devoted family member, shares responsibilities with her siblings in managing the family business, Cottages by the Sea, which is strategically located in St. Croix, a picturesque island within the US Virgin Islands.
With her husband Mark, Patti has shared a remarkable 27-year marriage, marked by a deep sense of commitment and togetherness. Together, they have raised two sons, whom they have nurtured and guided through their educational journey, opting for homeschooling from fifth grade all the way to graduation.
Currently, the family resides in the northwest Atlanta, Georgia area, where Mark has established his own business venture, Little River Hot Rods, a testament to his entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to his craft.
