Pavel Khvaleev, a visionary artist, was born on May 27, 1984, in Naberezhnie Chelni, Russia. His passion for music led him to co-found the renowned electronic dance project Moonbeam with his brother Vitaly in 2004. Over the years, Moonbeam gained international recognition, entering the prestigious DJ Magazine's annual list of the world's best DJs TOP 100 in 2000.
Pavel's creative endeavors extended beyond music, as he directed all 40 official Moonbeam music video clips. Many of these videos were showcased at prominent European and American film festivals, including the Berlin Independent Film Festival, Shockfest Film Festival, Venice Film Festival, and Pollygrind Underground Film Festival.
In 2012, Pavel made his directorial debut with the feature film "The Random," which achieved significant success, charting in the top 50 of the most downloaded movies on iTunes (Russia) in its first week of sales. This accomplishment marked the beginning of Pavel's journey as a filmmaker.
Pavel's second feature film, "III," was a labor of love, created on a modest budget of EUR 30,000 with a team of just eight people. The film received official selections in over 22 international film festivals in 2015, garnering numerous awards, including "Best Foreign Language Film" and "Best Cinematography" in the USA, Australia, and Russia.
