Perizaad Zorabian was born on October 23, 1973, in a traditional Parsee family, her name being a beautiful representation of her heritage, literally translating to "Fairy's daughter". Her family's occupation is centered around a poultry farm, which has been a long-standing tradition.
Before venturing into the world of entertainment, Perizaad made her debut as a model for Clearisil, a renowned skincare brand, and also appeared in a music video titled "Nahin Raktha Dil Mein Kuch". She then took a bold step by relocating to New York, United States, to pursue her higher education and obtain a degree in Master of Business Administration (MBA) from a prestigious institution. During her time in New York, she actively participated in various theatrical plays under the guidance of the renowned Lee Strasberg.
Upon completing her MBA, Perizaad returned to her homeland to lend a helping hand to her father in their family-run poultry farm. She also made a comeback to the small screen by appearing in a TV play called "Hum Pardesi Ho Gaya", where she played the character of Maya, a strong and independent woman.
Her journey in the Indian film industry began with the movie "Bollywood Calling" in the year 2001, marking her debut on the silver screen. She went on to act in a total of 12 movies, including the Hollywood flick "Exit Z", where she portrayed the character of an Indian model. Her impressive performance in the film industry also led her to play the role of former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in a Chinese movie titled "Bandung Sonata".
In her personal life, Perizaad tied the knot with Boman Rustom Irani, a Board Director of Rustomjee Builders, on December 9, 2006. She continues to accept movie offers and appears in films, showcasing her versatility and talent in the entertainment industry.
