Perry Ball was born on December 21, 1953, in Seneca, Missouri, and shortly after his first birthday, he and his family relocated to Grand Junction, Colorado. Growing up on a farm near Palisade, Perry later pursued higher education in Arizona, earning a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in History and Religion from Grand Canyon University.
Throughout his academic journey, Perry attended multiple institutions, including Mesa State University, Central Missouri State University, and Hannibal Lagrange College, where he took undergraduate classes in Business, Liberal Arts, and Counseling. His academic endeavors culminated in the receipt of a Master of Divinity with Languages from Southeastern Baptist Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina, as well as attendance at Golden Gate Baptist Seminary in Mill Valley, California.
Born to Charley and Mary Ball, Perry was the youngest of seven children. His oldest sister, Avis, sadly passed away before her first birthday, while his sister Josephine passed away at the age of 69 in 2009, and his brother Willis at the age of 69 in 2011. Perry's two sisters, Charlene Baecker and Debbie Austin, still reside in Colorado, and his brother Vernon resides in Fort Worth, Texas.
Perry's passion for acting began early, and he had numerous opportunities in theater, film, and television during his school years. Following his service in the US Army during the Vietnam War, Perry went on to have careers as a Baptist minister, social worker, and in computers.
Throughout his life, Perry continued to perform in radio, television, theatre, and film in small roles until his retirement. Since 2006, he has worked full-time in the television and film industry, taking on roles such as Chief Bill Godsey in the feature film Dormant, Detective Rice in NC-60, Kraig (The Art Room Teacher) in the film Kill Yourself, and many others.
Perry has also appeared in several television series, including Resurrection, Sleepy Hollow, Red Band Society, Under the Dome, Devious Maids, and others. In addition to his acting career, Perry held the position of Executive Vice-President of Isle of Skye Productions from 2013 until early 2016. He then became President and owner of Perry Ball Productions, LLC., as well as President and Partner of Multiverse Entertainment Partners, LLC, in January 2016.
Perry's enthusiasm for working on both sides of the camera has been a hallmark of his career, and he continues to be an active and accomplished figure in the entertainment industry.
