Peter's academic pursuits culminated in his graduation, which paved the way for his professional debut in the esteemed Mark Taper Forum's production of The Cherry Orchard. This prestigious theatrical endeavor featured a distinguished cast, including the highly acclaimed Annette Bening and Alfred Molina, in 2006. This remarkable achievement served as a significant benchmark in his burgeoning career, and it wasn't long before he received an invitation to audition for the pilot of ABC's Notes from the Underbelly, a comedy series that would ultimately feature him alongside the talented Jennifer Westfeldt.

Peter's acting career continued to flourish as he secured a recurring role as Operations Psychologist Nate Getz in the CBS drama NCIS: Los Angeles, a position he has maintained to this very day, showcasing his remarkable adaptability and range as an actor.
