Peter Davis, a highly acclaimed producer and director, was born on January 2, 1937, in the bustling metropolis of Los Angeles, California. His parents, Frank Davis and Tess Slesinger, were both accomplished screenwriters, with Tess also being a talented short story writer and novelist.
