R.W. Goodwin is a multi-talented individual with a impressive array of accomplishments in the entertainment industry. As a director and co-producer, he has worked on various projects, including the feature film "Alien Trespass" (2009),starring Eric McCormack.
As an Executive Producer, Goodwin has received numerous accolades, including four Emmy nominations for his work on the hit television series "The X-Files" (1993). He has also worked on other notable shows such as "Hooperman" (1987),"Mancuso, FBI" (1989),"Life Goes On" (1989),and "The Fugitive" (2000).
In addition to his work on television series, Goodwin has produced numerous made-for-television movies, including "Born Too Soon" (1993),"Living a Lie" (1991),"Those She Left Behind" (1989),"Downpayment on Murder" (1987),"Acceptable Risks" (1986),and "The Winter of Our Discontent" (1983). Born in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia, to an American father and an Australian mother, Goodwin has dual citizenship with both countries. He moved to the United States at the age of two and was raised in Southern California. He graduated from UCLA before starting his career in the mail room at CBS. Goodwin worked his way up to producing, writing, and directing, and is currently married to actress Sheila Larken, who appeared in a recurring role on "The X-Files" (1993).
