Rachael Kathryn Bell, now known as "little luna", began her acting career at the tender age of 12, after trying out for her elementary school's musical production of "The Secret Garden". This marked the beginning of her lifelong passion for acting, singing, and performing.
As a teenager, Rachael would travel back and forth from her hometown of Pittsburgh to Los Angeles to audition for various commercials, TV shows, and films. She was signed by Coast to Coast agency and managed by Susan Curtis, and would spend her time in LA homeschooling while auditioning, before returning to her public school in Pennsylvania.
Before moving to LA permanently after graduating high school in 2011, Rachael landed her first TV show guest star role as "Addison" in the Disney Channel's "The Suite Life on Deck" at the age of 15. Her portrayal of the character was so well-received that she was brought back for seven more episodes throughout the show's three seasons.
Rachael continued to hone her craft at Warner Loughlin Studios and auditioned for various projects, including TV shows such as "Awkward" and "Body of Proof", and independent films like the Austin Film Fest Audience Award Winner: "Speak Now" in 2013.
As she delved deeper into her acting career, Rachael began to feel a strong desire to pursue music. She started attending songwriting camps for other artists and spent more time working in the studio, writing songs for her own artist project, "little luna".
On October 2nd, 2020, Rachael released her debut single "shift & go", accompanied by a lyric video, music video, and full social media rebrand. The single broke 10,000+ streams on Spotify, 15,000+ streams across all platforms, and 2,000 YouTube views on the music video in its first week.
In a statement, Rachael shared that her music is a sonic journey through rediscovering her truest self, and she hopes to inspire others to do the same. Her background in film is evident in her music, both sonically and visually, and she is excited to continue exploring her creativity in both film and music.
