Rainbeau Mars, a multifaceted individual, was born in a teepee in the Ozarks under a rare double rainbow. Growing up primarily in Boulder, Colorado, Mars' early years were marked by her enthusiasm for the entertainment industry, securing a diverse range of lead roles in productions such as Willy Wonka and Pippi Longstocking.
During her time at Boulder High School, Mars explored her creative side by participating in various activities, including creative writing and developing her own local television show. However, her high school experience took an unexpected turn when she moved to Molokai, Hawaii, where she immersed herself in the local culture by speaking the Hawaiian dialect, learning traditional hula dancing, and mastering local pastimes.
Mars' early modeling gigs on the islands, as well as in Colorado and Europe/Miami, laid the groundwork for her big break in the film industry. Her first major role came in the form of The People Vs. Larry Flynt, where she worked alongside renowned actors Woody Harrelson and Edward Norton. This experience not only earned her a SAG card but also granted her the opportunity to accompany the Harrelson brothers on a trip after the film wrapped.
Inspired by this experience, Mars made the bold decision to move to Los Angeles at the tender age of 19. She continued to hone her craft by working alongside a talented group of actors, including Jonathan Schaech, Alison Eastwood, Oliver Hudson, Crispin Glover, Katherine Heigl, Emmanuelle Chiriquí, and many more.
To maintain her mental and physical well-being amidst the chaos of LA, Mars turned to yoga and healthy living. Her dedication to these practices ultimately led to the creation of her signature yoga videos, which were shot on location in her beloved Hawaii. Shortly after completing the project, Mars discovered she was pregnant with her daughter and went on to birth a thriving yoga career.
To date, Mars has produced and starred in over 30 yoga videos under the umbrella of adidas, Lionsgate, and her own production company, RMO (Rainbeau Mars Omnimedia). As the face of adidas, Mars traveled to 35 countries to lead press conferences, developed adidas TV, and created teacher trainings for adidas Asia. She also launched a successful clothing line made from sustainably harvested eucalyptus, which unfortunately had to be put on hold as she returned to her on-screen roots.
Since then, Mars has continued to pursue her passions, serving on the host committee for Global Green and releasing her debut book, The 21-Day Superstar Cleanse, which has been featured on various prominent television programs, including The Doctors, GMA, E!, Extra, and Access Hollywood. In 2015, she was cast to star in Wide Awake, and is currently producer/writer/co-star of a feature film called Sisters. Mars has also shot a campaign for Ford Focus Electric and continues to showcase her talents for casting directors.
Throughout her journey, Mars' dedication to storytelling has remained unwavering, and she hopes to continue serving stories that inspire, transform, and heal.
