He initially made his mark in live Network Radio Drama, starring in notable productions such as "Jack Armstrong", "Tom Mix", and "Lux Radio Theatre". His early television appearances included iconic shows like "Playhouse 90", "Front Row Center", and "Lux Video Theatre".
As his career progressed, Votrian transitioned to film, featuring in notable movies like "The Imitation General" alongside Glen Ford, and "Until They Sail" with Jean Simmons. He even had the opportunity to swing dance with the talented Sandra Dee. His television credits included appearances in "Dragnet", "Lassie", and "The Twilight Zone".
