Biography

Raphaël Fejtö, a multifaceted French artist, was born on September 17, 1974. With a rich cultural heritage, Fejtö's ancestry is a unique blend of Russian, Egyptian, and Lebanese roots. His grandfather, Ferenc Fejtő, was a renowned Hungarian historian and journalist, leaving a lasting impact on Fejtö's life.

Fejtö's acting career is marked by his iconic role in Louis Malle's semi-autobiographical film Au revoir, les enfants (Goodbye, Children),released in 1987. Furthermore, he showcased his versatility by writing, directing, and starring in the 1996 short film 56 fois par semaine (56 Times A Week). His directorial skills were also demonstrated in the French-language film Osmose (Osmosis),released in 2003.

In 2007, Fejtö released his second feature film, L'Age D'Homme (The Age of Man),which he also wrote, and starred alongside notable actors Romain Duris, Aïssa Maïga, and Clément Sibony.

Beyond his work in film, Fejtö is also a talented author and illustrator. Alongside his mother, Nadja, he co-authored and illustrated several children's books, including Le Vélo de Jo (Jo's Bicycle),Petit George (Little George),and Roro le Pompier (Roro the Fireman).
