Raquel, a talented individual, was born and raised in the vibrant city of San Juan, Puerto Rico. From a young age, she developed a passion for acting and dancing, which would later become a significant part of her career.
After completing her education at Tulane University in New Orleans, where she earned a degree in Business and a minor in Theatre, Raquel embarked on a five-year journey in "Corporate America". However, her true calling lay in the world of acting, and she eventually left her corporate job to pursue her dream.
With her sights set on the entertainment industry, Raquel began working regularly in television commercials, audio dubbing, film, and voice-over radio and TV spots, catering to both the General and Hispanic markets. Her proficiency in three languages - English, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese - made her a versatile and sought-after talent.
To hone her craft, Raquel trained with the renowned Marc Durso of Act True in the Uta Hagen Process and continued her studies at HB Studios in New York City. Her impressive range and dedication have led to notable roles in films such as Wonder Woman 1984 (2020),Good Friday (2020),and Callous (2011).
