Reg Davidson, a celebrated Haida artist, has established a remarkable career that has spanned numerous decades, with a rich history dating back to 1972. This pivotal year marked the beginning of Davidson's artistic journey, skillfully guided by the wise and experienced hands of his father, Claude Davidson, the esteemed Chief of the Village of Dadens, located on the culturally abundant and storied Haida Gwaii. Furthermore, Davidson had the distinct privilege of apprenticing under the mentorship of his brother, Robert Davidson, a renowned artist in his own right, thereby allowing him to refine his skills and artistic vision to a higher degree.
