Renee Goldsberry, a talented individual, was born in San Jose, California, and had the privilege of being raised in not one, but two distinct cities, Houston, Texas, and Detroit, Michigan. Her educational background is quite impressive, as she earned a Bachelor's degree in acting from the prestigious Carnegie-Mellon University. Not stopping there, she furthered her knowledge by attending graduate school at the University of Southern California, ultimately receiving a Master's degree in vocal jazz performance.
Throughout her illustrious career, Renee has had the opportunity to work on numerous Broadway productions, including a memorable performance as "Nala" in Disney's "The Lion King" in 2003. In addition to her stage work, she has also made a name for herself in the world of daytime television, starring as the determined lawyer Evangeline Williamson in the long-running drama "One Life to Live," which premiered in 1968.
