Richard French, a third-generation native Southern Californian from Long Beach, boasts an extensive background in media and acting, shaped by his rigorous training under the guidance of renowned industry professionals. His formal education is complemented by a diverse range of acting-related courses and workshops, including Tony Barr's Film Actor's Workshop, private instruction with the late Susan Strasberg and Mitchell Nestor, and three years with Film Industry Workshops, formerly associated with CBS/MTM Studios in Studio City.
Richard's experience in the film industry is multifaceted, having worked extensively with independent film producer and director Roger Mende, where he honed his skills in both behind-the-scenes and on-camera roles for several of Mende's films. His formal education consists of an associate degree in art from Los Angeles City College and a bachelor's degree in communications from California State University Dominguez Hills, both of which he completed in the mid-1990s.
