Richard's background is a diverse and extensive one, encompassing various mediums such as film, television, radio, improvisational comedy, stand-up comedy, stage, and animation.
He pursued his passion for drama at the University of North Texas, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Painting and Drawing.
For five years, Richard performed with the Ad-Libs Improvisational Comedy Group in Dallas, TX, honing his skills in improvisational comedy.
In addition to his work with the Ad-Libs, Richard worked as the head writer and voice talent for the BigTime Radio Network.
He also had the opportunity to perform with several Dallas theater groups, including The Classical Acting Company, The HUB Theater, and The Pocket Sandwich Theatre.
From 2006 to 2011, Richard took his stand-up comedy skills to various clubs in the Dallas area, including BackDoor Comedy, Hyenas, and the Improv.
Richard's experience in writing and performing for television is vast, having worked as a writer and performer for ONQTV and creating his own series of short animated films called Psycho Puppet Theater.
In recent years, Richard has continued to work regularly in short films, web series, commercials, television, and feature films in the Dallas area. Some of his notable roles include Issac Renneker in Sacrament, Father Matthew Rivers in Blood Reunion, Dad in Pot Zombies 2, and a stand-up comedian in Rockin' Reverend.
In 2014, Richard founded Wanda Wayne Productions, a small independent production company dedicated to creating innovative web series, films, and TV shows.
One of his most notable projects is 'Yoga Garage', a 9-episode comedy web series about a unique place where actors can work on scenes and practice yoga. The web series is set to be released through multiple outlets in late 2016.
Richard is also the creator, writer, and performer of 'Far Out Fiesta', a weekly Thursday night sketch, internet radio comedy series on OnAirLive.
