Riteish Deshmukh is a multi-talented Indian individual who has made a significant impact in the Bollywood film industry as an actor, producer, and architect. Born into a family of politicians, he is the son of the late Vilasrao Deshmukh, a former Union Minister for Science, Technology, and Earth Sciences, as well as the former Chief Minister of Maharashtra.
Riteish's journey in the film industry began with his debut in K.Vijaya Bhaskar's Tujhe Meri Kasam in 2003, alongside his future wife Genelia D'Souza. Although his early years were marked by moderate success, it wasn't until 2004 that he achieved widespread recognition with the critically acclaimed film Bardaasht and the commercially successful comedy Masti.
Masti, in particular, earned him several award nominations, including the prestigious Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor. He went on to star in a string of successful films, including Heyy Babyy, Dhamaal, House Full, Double Dhamaal, Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya, Housefull 2, Humshakals, and Ek Villain.
In addition to his acting career, Riteish has also ventured into film production, making his debut as a producer in 2013 with the Marathi success Balak Palak, directed by Ravi Jadhav. The following year, he made his acting debut in Marathi cinema with the action film Lai Bhaari.
