Rob VanAlkemade, a Sundance award winner, has undergone production training at NYU and pursued an MA in Media Studies from The New School. As a broadcast showrunner and executive producer, he has worked with prominent networks such as National Geographic, LOGO, CMT, and A&E.
Throughout his career, Rob has donned various hats, including documentary producer, director, cinematographer, editor, and writer. His diverse portfolio encompasses a wide range of subjects, including weapons inspections in Iraq, elections in Afghanistan, therapies for autistic children, honors for civilian heroes, profiles on combat troops and veterans, social and political activists, artists, survivalists, bounty hunters, police and sheriffs, and Holocaust survivors, among many others.
Recently, Rob directed episodes of A&E's Digital Addiction before taking on the role of executive producer at Medicinal Media. At Medicinal Media, he creates, curates, and commissions documentary content focused on beneficial media.
