Robert Tinnell is a prolific writer and director who has maintained his enthusiastic identity as a fanboy throughout his career. During his teenage years, he was an avid creator of his own Super 8mm horror films and also published a horror fanzine called Demons of the Mind. As an adult, Tinnell has written and directed a variety of films, including the cult classic Frankenstein and Me, which was released in 1996. In 2004, he co-wrote a horror graphic novel called The Black Forest, featuring classic moments, which was published by Image Comics and received widespread acclaim.
Tinnell currently resides with his patient and understanding wife, Shannon Colaianni Tinnell, and their children in a location that is conveniently close to several of his favorite amenities, including a beer establishment, a sushi restaurant, a comic book store, and a trout fishing spot.
