Robin Ann Snider, a fascinating individual, spent the majority of her formative years in Northern California, where her family, including her mother and brother, along with his family, still reside to this day. Her educational journey took her to Arcadia High School, where she had the pleasure of meeting none other than the legendary Stevie Nicks, with whom she would go on to form a lifelong bond.
As a scholar of speech, Robin had the unique opportunity to serve as a vocal coach for Stevie Nicks during her time on tour with Fleetwood Mac. This experience undoubtedly deepened their friendship and allowed Robin to hone her skills in the world of music.
It was during this period that Robin met Kim Anderson, a representative for Warner Brothers Records, and the two would eventually tie the knot. Tragedy struck when Robin was diagnosed with leukemia, and in the midst of her treatment, she became pregnant. Despite being told that she would likely lose the child, Robin's determination and resilience saw her through to the delivery of her baby at 6.5 months, only to lose her life just 10 days later.
Kim Anderson, deeply affected by Robin's passing, would go on to leave the record industry and relocate to rural Minnesota, where he would later remarry Stevie Nicks. However, their union would be short-lived, and they would eventually divorce. Despite this, Stevie Nicks has spoken fondly of Robin Ann Snider, indicating the enduring impact she had on her life and the lasting connection between the two friends.
