Following a relatively short-lived tenure in the National Football League, where I had the privilege of donning the iconic blue and white jerseys of the Dallas Cowboys for a brief period in 1985, and subsequently joining the Philadelphia Eagles for the 1986 and 1987 seasons, I made the bold decision to transition into the world of acting.
This pivotal career shift was marked by a watershed moment when I successfully auditioned for the highly acclaimed cult classic, Toxic Avenger Part 2. Initially, I was cast in a supporting role, tasked with serving as the understudy Toxic Avenger, responsible for filling in distant shots and performing high-octane stunts, ultimately setting the stage for a long and storied career in the entertainment industry.
As fate would have it, when the original Toxie, John Altamura, unexpectedly departed the production, I found myself suddenly catapulted into the lead role of the film, which was being simultaneously shot with Part 3.
The experience was a truly electrifying and pulse-pounding adventure, imbuing me with an unparalleled sense of excitement and exhilaration, which ultimately culminated in the remarkable opportunity to take on the captivating role of Leon in the sequel to the cult classic, Basket Case Part 2, a cinematic endeavour that further solidified my presence in the world of entertainment.
However, despite these significant opportunities and experiences, my countenance remained shrouded in mystery, with my visage perpetually concealed from the public eye, a peculiar circumstance that persisted throughout the duration of my career, leaving a lasting enigma that has only added to the allure and intrigue surrounding my enigmatic persona.
As the curtain closed on my stint as the Toxic Avenger, I embarked on a new chapter in the city that never sleeps, New York City, where I concurrently pursued my passion for acting and honed my skills in the demanding nightlife industry by working as a bouncer in various nightclubs.
It was the year 1991 when I made the bold decision to embark on a fresh professional journey, opting to pursue a career as a Physician Assistant, and subsequently, I enrolled in PA school, where I successfully completed my studies with honors.
Subsequent to my academic achievement, I embarked on a professional path as a Physician Assistant, and as my career progressed, I was fortunate enough to meet and eventually tie the knot with my loving wife, Dana, in the year 1996.
Our union has been blessed with the arrival of three beautiful daughters, and as a result, we have relocated to the picturesque state of North Carolina, where we currently reside and call home.
As I've transitioned away from actively seeking out acting opportunities, I've found myself still drawn to the excitement and camaraderie of conventions, where I can reconnect with fellow enthusiasts and reminisce about past projects.
While I'm not actively seeking out new acting roles at the moment, I do leave the door open to the possibility of taking on smaller, more limited engagements in the future, should the right opportunity arise and align with my current priorities and goals.
In the meantime, I continue to appreciate the unique experiences and connections that come from attending conventions, where I can engage with like-minded individuals, share stories, and perhaps even discover new creative outlets or collaborations.
