Jason Knight, also known as ECW's "Sexiest Man On Earth," was born Ronald Knight Georgi. He arrived in the United States in 1977 and later returned to Serbia to serve two years in the Yugoslavian Army.
After his military service, Jason started his professional wrestling career, trained by Bobby Bold Eagle and Johnny Rodz, at the world-famous Gleason Gym. He trained with Jason Speed and Ironman Tommy Cairo, and eventually found himself in Florida, where he was booked by Kevin Sullivan for WCW.
Jason's early career saw him facing top wrestlers, including Rick Flair, Undertaker, Sid Vicious, Lex Luger, and Michael Hayes. After a back surgery in the early 1990s, Jason received a call from Paul Hayman to work with ECW, where he became a manager and a heel.
As "The Sexiest Man On Earth," Jason became the mouthpiece for The Pitbulls, The Eliminators, The Impact, and others. He was known for his ability to encourage and give opportunities to new talent, and his behind-the-scenes work in ECW.
Jason went on to become the ECW Television Champion, defeating Mikey Whipwreck in 1994. He also launched ACW Assault Championship Wrestling in Connecticut, booking talent such as New Jack, Balls Mahoney, Trent Acid, and others.
After closing his school, House of Pain, in 2004, Jason continued to make appearances before taking a hiatus after the WWE's 2007 ECW Pay-Per-View. In 2023, he relaunched ACW and reopened his school in Milford, PA, with plans to relaunch in 2024.
Jason Knight is set to return to the ring on April 5th, 2024, at Tribute To The Extreme 2 Pay-Per-View, taking on Alvin, accompanied by legendary Missy Hyatt.
