Ron Palillo, born Ronald Gabriel Paolillo, embarked on an entrepreneurial venture at the tender age of 14 by establishing his own summer theater in Cheshire, Connecticut. To the surprise of his parents, Gabriel and Carmel Paolillo, the summer theater not only flourished but also generated a profit.
Following his high school graduation, Ron pursued a degree in drama at the University of Connecticut at Storrs. During his collegiate years, he actively participated in numerous school plays, honing his craft and gaining valuable experience.
Upon completing his education, Ron joined a touring company that specialized in Shakespearean plays, performing in iconic productions such as "Macbeth", "The Taming of the Shrew", and "A Midsummer Night's Dream". He claimed that this tour provided him with invaluable drama training.
After his stint with the touring company, Ron became a member of a repertory company in Miami, Florida. Shortly thereafter, he arrived in New York and secured a role in the off-Broadway production "Hot l Baltimore", which he stayed with for over a year.
Ron's success in "Hot L Baltimore" led to a lead role in the television musical special "The Last Sweet Days of Isaac". Following this, he embarked on another tour, appearing alongside Mickey Rooney in "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and Jan Sterling in the serious play "Summer Brave".
In his personal life, Ron has two brothers and a sister. His elder brother, Richard Paolillo, is an eye surgeon, while his brother Robert Paolillo is a salesman. His sister, Ann, pursued a career in teaching.
Ron's family is proud of his accomplishments, and his parents must have been thrilled to see their son's entrepreneurial spirit and passion for the performing arts flourish.
