Roxy Shih is a renowned Taiwanese-American producer and director, widely recognized for her remarkable versatility in her work, which has encompassed collaborations with numerous independent companies both domestically and internationally.
In 2011, Roxy was one of only ten individuals selected for the esteemed Armed With A Camera fellowship, and she received a grant to direct a short film titled Play Time, which premiered at the Directors Guild of America and subsequently embarked on a successful international film festival tour, featuring appearances at The LA Asian Pacific Film Festival, the Cannes Film Festival, SXSW, the Toronto Independent Film Festival, and Dances with Films.
Roxy's directorial debut, The Tribe, was acquired by Empress Road Pictures, and boasts an impressive cast featuring Jessica Rothe, known for her roles in Parallels and La La Land, Anne Winters, who has appeared in Wicked City and Tyrant, and Michael Nardelli, recognized for his work in The Collection.
