Before embarking on a successful filmmaking career, White spent a substantial four-year period in Hanoi, Vietnam, serving as the esteemed Film Advisor for the World Wildlife Fund's Greater Mekong Program. This remarkable experience played a pivotal role in shaping his future endeavors, as he later relocated to Bangkok, Thailand, where he took on the multifaceted roles of producer and director for two documentary feature films, Camp Unity (2010) and Mondo Banana (2013).
