Ryan Pinkston was born on February 8, 1988, in Silver Spring, Maryland, to parents Linda and Mark. From a very young age, he had a profound interest in martial arts, commencing his karate training at the tender age of four. By the time he reached nine years old, Ryan had already achieved remarkable proficiency, earning his second degree in Wushu and first degree in Tae Kwon Do.
Throughout his formative years, Ryan continued to excel in the world of martial arts, acquiring World Titles in the United States, France, Canada, and Central America. His impressive repertoire of skills and techniques included Individual Grand Championships and Synchronized Teams, which he accomplished alongside his trusted team partner, Anthony Atkins.
Ryan's foray into the entertainment industry began in 2002, when he received a call from a talent agent who had spotted him on "The Most Talented Kids" episode of the Jenny Jones Show. Within a remarkably short span of just one month, Ryan landed a starring role in the popular film Spy Kids 3-D, and went on to delight audiences with his antics on the first season of the hit television show Punk'd, where he took great pleasure in playing harmless pranks on unsuspecting celebrities.
Despite the allure of the spotlight and the numerous opportunities that came his way, Ryan remained resolute in his commitment to staying in Maryland and completing his education alongside his friends. After graduating from high school, he made the bold decision to relocate to Los Angeles, a move that marked a significant turning point in his life and career.
