Ryan Potter is a multifaceted individual with a diverse range of talents, encompassing acting, direction, martial arts, and photography. Born in the United States, he spent his early childhood in Tokyo, Japan, where he was raised until the age of seven.
Potter's professional journey began with a lead role in the Nickelodeon series "Supah Ninjas" from 2011 to 2013, alongside legendary actor George Takei, who played his grandfather. This early experience laid the foundation for his future endeavors.
In 2014, Potter starred in Disney's animated superhero blockbuster, Big Hero 6, voicing the lead character Hiro Hamada, a child prodigy who teams up with a large robot. The film's success was impressive, as it debuted at #1 in the United States and went on to win the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature in 2015. Potter's portrayal of Hiro Hamada was later adapted into an animated television show, Disney's Big Hero 6: The Series, which premiered in 2017.
In recent years, Potter has shifted his focus to raising awareness about water scarcity and security through his company Clear Matter. He is dedicated to promoting the innovative technology of Moses West, a retired US hall of fame veteran who has developed the Atmospheric Water Generator. Through his efforts, Potter aims to build a recognizable brand and globally raise awareness about the importance of AWG technology in creating water in a water-scarce future.
