Saba's existence commences with her birth in the breathtakingly majestic Great Rift Valley of Kenya, a geographical wonder that has been shaping the African landscape for millions of years, on the 7th day of June at precisely 7 o'clock in the evening, a momentous occasion that would ultimately serve as the catalyst for her extraordinary life's trajectory.
Saba's professional journey commenced with a stint at the esteemed Save the Rhino Trust in Namibia, where she toiled in the remote and rugged Skeleton Coast, dedicating her time and expertise to a Crafts for Conservation project. This early experience served as the foundation upon which her future endeavors would be built.
Fast-forwarding to the year 1997, Saba joined her father's respected charity, Save the Elephants (STE),assuming the position of Chief Operations Officer. Her primary objective was to contribute to the development of their research center, located in the renowned Samburu National Reserve, situated in the northern region of Kenya. It was during her tenure at STE that Saba's exceptional abilities and talents caught the attention of the prestigious BBC, marking the beginning of her illustrious career as a television presenter and producer of wildlife documentaries.
