Samuel Hadida, a visionary entrepreneur, marked the beginning of his illustrious career in 1978 upon graduating from the prestigious University of Paris. He founded Metropolitan Filmexport, a pioneering film distribution company that has successfully released over 100 films in France and French-speaking territories. Hadida's impressive portfolio includes the critically acclaimed David Fincher's Se7en, which topped the French box office in 1996. In 1990, he established Davis Films, a production company dedicated to producing international projects that would captivate audiences global.
Under Hadida's creative guidance, Davis Films brought to life Tony Scott's True Romance, written by the talented Quentin Tarantino, whose debut feature Reservoir Dogs Hadida had previously distributed in France. The company also produced Roger Avary's Killing Zoe, as well as Sheldon Lettich's Only the Strong, Christophe Gans' Crying Freeman, and the co-directed H. P. Lovecraft's _Necronomicon_.
Hadida's impressive filmography continued to grow with Steve Barron's The Adventures of Pinocchio, Matthew Bright's Freeway, Gabriele Salvatores' Nirvana, and Michael Haussman's _Rhinoceros Hunting in Budapest_. His most recent productions include the epic fantasy blockbuster _Pacte des Loups, Le (2001)_ (Brotherhood of the Wolf),directed by Christophe Gans, which became a box-office hit in France, and the action-packed Resident Evil (2002).
