After completing her academic pursuits in Dutch language and social culture at the University of Utrecht, Sanne secured a spot at the prestigious Amsterdam school of Drama and Fine Arts, where her talent was soon recognized by casting directors and she landed roles in several Dutch films and television series during her studies. Upon graduating in 2013, she made a notable appearance in the Dutch series Verliefd op Ibiza, Gouden Bergen, Meiden van de Herengracht, and Project Orpheus, as well as taking on the lead role in the Dutch remake of the series The Secret Diary Of A Callgirl.
However, it was her leading role in the historical drama Admiral that marked a significant turning point in her career, as she portrayed the character of Anna, the wife of Michiel de Ruyters, who endeavored to safeguard her family while her husband was away at sea. Sanne has recently wrapped up production on two Dutch films, Tuintje In Mijn Hart and De Terugkeer Van Een Wespendief, and has also appeared in the television series Weemoedt and B.A.B.S. Moreover, she is currently working on writing screenplays for television, further solidifying her presence in the industry.
