Sarah's journey in gymnastics began at a tender age, and her dedication and discipline eventually led her to compete at a national level. She later applied the same focus and dedication to her acting career, which has been her passion for over a decade.
Interestingly, Sarah's discovery as an actress was quite unexpected. While shopping with her mother at a supermarket, she was approached by someone who asked if she had ever considered a career in acting. This chance encounter led to her being given a phone number and, subsequently, her first manager.
Sarah's early success in commercials was remarkable. Within a short span of time, she landed nine national commercials for prominent brands such as Coca-Cola, Fritos, Hawaiian Punch, and Seven-Up, among others. Her impressive start in the industry caught the attention of casting directors, and she soon found herself landing her first "real" acting job on her 16th birthday.
This significant milestone marked the beginning of her guest-starring roles on popular TV shows. Some of her notable appearances include Baywatch (1989),Walker, Texas Ranger (1993),Diagnosis Murder (1993),Who's the Boss? (1984),and 21 Jump Street (1987).
