Sarah Sutton was born on December 12th, 1961, and embarked on her acting career at the tender age of seven, when she was handpicked to play the role of Roo in a Phoenix Theatre production of "Winnie the Pooh". By the time she turned eleven, she had already secured a string of television roles, including appearances in "Menace: Boys and Girls Come Out to Play" (1973),"Late Call" (1974),and "Oil Strike North" (1975).
Her breakthrough moment arrived when she landed the lead role in the children's drama serial "The Moon Stallion" (1978). Shortly after, she returned to her acting studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama as a part-time student. Following a Caribbean holiday, Sutton received a call to audition for the part of Nyssa in the iconic science fiction series "Doctor Who". Her stint on the show came to a close, and she subsequently returned to her theatre roots, touring in the play "Policy for Murder" (1986).
Sutton's personal life soon took center stage, as she got married and welcomed a baby daughter, Hannah, which led to her taking a temporary hiatus from acting. Although she did manage to snag a small role in the TV play "Unnatural Pursuits", her focus shifted to her family. Sutton hopes to return to full-time acting once her daughter is older, allowing her to reignite her passion for the craft.
