Sascha Grammel's Life Story: A Journey of Unwavering Passion and Perseverance
Sascha Grammel, a talented individual, hails from Berlin's Spandau district, where he spent his formative years. His fascination with the mystical arts began at a remarkably young age, as he joined the youth group of the Magical Circle Berlin, a prestigious organization that nurtured his passion. As he matured, Grammel progressed to become a full-fledged member of the adult circle at the tender age of 18. Simultaneously, he pursued a career in dental technology, a testament to his multifaceted nature. In 1992, Grammel co-founded the magic trio DIE ZAUdERER alongside Martin Sierp and Timothy Trust, an endeavor that garnered widespread recognition and numerous accolades. This innovative trio's performances showcased Grammel's unique style, which he has dubbed Puppet-Comedy, a captivating blend of comedy, puppetry, ventriloquism, and magic.
Since the year 1997, Grammel has been a regular fixture on the public stage, with his evening-length solo program "Hetz mich nicht" making its television debut on February 5, 2011, on the esteemed German network RTL, and surprisingly, it garnered a higher audience share than the same evening's rendition of Deutschland sucht den Superstar, a popular talent show.
In the year 2009, a significant event occurred as Universal Music signed a contract with Grammel, leading to the recording of his solo program at the renowned Quatsch Comedy Club Berlin. This recording was later released on DVD in April 2010, marking a major milestone in his career. The DVD received widespread acclaim, reaching the number one spot on the comedy charts, and he also made a memorable appearance on the popular German TV show "Verstehen Sie Spaß?" featuring excerpts from his program.
On March 22, 2010, Grammel took center stage at the prestigious Deutsches Theater München, performing his solo program to a packed audience. Later that year, he made two appearances on the popular Austrian TV show "Frag doch mal die Maus" on Erste, firstly on May 8, 2010, alongside Frederic Freiherr von Furchensumpf, and secondly on October 25, 2010, alongside the talented Josie.
The General-Anzeiger Bonn, a reputable publication, bestowed upon his program the esteemed description of "a night full of highlights, a triumphal procession as an overwhelming demonstration of overflowing talent". Meanwhile, the Nordhannoversche Zeitung, another notable source, condensed its assessment into the succinct yet evocative phrase "frivolous, refreshing, and self-ironic".
Since February of the year 2013, Grammel has been embarking on a touring journey across Germany, presenting his latest solo program, cleverly titled "KEINE ANHUNG".
As the tour progressed, a significant milestone was reached when the DVD/Blu-ray recording of this remarkable performance was captured at the prestigious Stadthalle Wuppertal.
Subsequently, on June 7, 2013, this captivating visual representation of Grammel's artistic prowess was officially released to the public, allowing audiences worldwide to experience the magic of his solo program.
