Scott A. Martin, a native of Princeton, West Virginia, began his educational journey in Athens, West Virginia, where he completed his high school studies. His academic endeavors subsequently led him to Concord University, where he earned a degree in journalism. With his newfound knowledge, Martin embarked on a professional career, exploring various aspects of journalism, including broadcast news, radio, and news editorial.
However, Martin soon discovered that the world of journalism failed to fulfill his aspirations, and he made the life-changing decision to relocate to Chicago, Illinois, to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming an actor. During his time in Chicago, Martin worked with The Blue Man Group and The Jenny Jones Show, while also taking classes at the renowned Second City Theatre.
While living in Chicago, Martin established a valuable connection with industry veteran Aiman Humaideh, who played a crucial role in helping Martin secure roles on the television show Cupid and in John Cusack's film High Fidelity.
Tragedy struck Martin's life when his son, Reese, passed away in 2007. Despite this adversity, Martin's daughter, Livia, continues to reside in Princeton, West Virginia. Martin currently resides in West Virginia and remains committed to his passion for acting, believing that it brings him the greatest sense of fulfillment in life.
