Sean Millington, a Canadian actor and former fullback in the Canadian Football League (CFL),began his football career while attending Carson Graham Secondary School in 1984. Initially, he played as an offensive lineman before transitioning to the position of running back. After high school, Millington attended Simon Fraser University and later tried out for the New York Giants in the National Football League (NFL). However, due to a lack of sufficient experience, he was encouraged to join the Canadian Football League, where he could gain valuable experience and prove himself.
Millington was recruited by the Edmonton Eskimos and went on to enjoy a 12-year career in the CFL, playing for various teams including the BC Lions, Winnipeg Blue Bombers, and Toronto Argonauts. His impressive performance earned him a spot in the CFL, where he played from 1990 to 2002. After a brief retirement, Millington returned to the CFL in 2005, joining the Toronto Argonauts. Unfortunately, his comeback was cut short due to a ruptured Achilles heel, forcing him to retire on October 22, 2005.
In addition to his football career, Millington has also worked as a member of the CBS broadcast network, a job he returned to after his second retirement. With his extensive experience in the entertainment industry, Millington began his acting career in the early 1990s, around the age of 22. He has since appeared in numerous films and television series, including The 4400, Stargate SG-1, Are We There Yet?, Supernatural, Blade: The Series, Smallville, Eureka, Stargate: Atlantis, Flash Gordon: A Modern Space Opera, Hell on Wheels, The 100, iZombie, and many more.
