Born and raised in the charming city of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, this individual's life was forever changed after completing a four-year business program at the University of Western Ontario. With a sense of adventure and a thirst for excitement, he made the bold decision to purchase a one-way ticket and board a Greyhound Bus, embarking on a 64-hour journey that would ultimately lead him to the iconic intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue in Los Angeles.
This marked the beginning of a new chapter in his life, as he enrolled in the renowned Stella Adler Studio of Acting, where he dedicated himself to honing his craft, scene by scene, play by play. Over the next several years, he would call various homes, including hostels, rental cars, couches, and even the stage, his true sanctuary.
Upon graduation, he was offered the opportunity to direct and perform in Neil LaBute's critically acclaimed play, BASH-3 Plays, earning him nominations for Best Actor and Best Director from the prestigious Backstage Garland Awards. Since 2005, he has continued to bring stories and characters to life, producing, directing, and performing in a wide range of plays, including Los Muertos, Junebug versus Hurricane, Burn This, and The Chicago Conspiracy Trial, many of which have received critical acclaim and commercial success.
His work has been recognized by esteemed publications such as the Los Angeles Times, Variety, Hollywood Reporter, Backstage, and LA Weekly, and he has also been cast in feature films like Dysmorphia and Redland, the latter of which was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award and won Best Feature at the Raindance Film Festival.
In a more recent endeavor, he spent 56 days living off the land in the high desert, 25 miles outside of Boulder, Utah, in preparation for a role that would be performed 1500 feet above the town on a mesa/mountain to sold-out audiences.
