Seana Kofoed's journey in the entertainment industry began in the Chicago area, where she received a solid foundation in the performing arts. She further honed her craft by attending Northwestern University and The Royal National Theatre in London.
Kofoed's stage career took off in Chicago, with notable productions at esteemed institutions such as The Goodman Theatre, The Court Theatre, and Victory Gardens Theatre. She eventually made the move to New York, where she made a name for herself in productions on and off Broadway.
Her Broadway credits include critically acclaimed performances in "Proof" alongside Jennifer Jason Leigh and "Night Must Fall" with Matthew Broderick. Off-Broadway, Kofoed has worked with renowned companies such as Manhattan Theatre Club, the Atlantic Theatre Company, and MCC. Her impressive body of work earned her a Drama Desk Nomination for Best Supporting Actress in Shelagh Stephenson's "An Experiment with an Air Pump".
In addition to her work in theatre, Kofoed has also made a significant impact in television. She has recurred and guested on numerous shows, and has held series regular roles on Jenny Bicks' "Men in Trees" and Jamie Denbo/Jenji Kohan's "American Princess".
Beyond her work in front of the camera, Kofoed is also a talented writer and producer. She wrote and produced the feature film "30 Miles from Nowhere", which received the prestigious ReFrame stamp for its diverse and gender-balanced cast and crew. Kofoed has also written and starred in the short film "Together Apart", alongside her husband Jason Antoon, and penned and starred in the comedy "Donna's Revenge: Confessions of an Ex-Contestant", which explores the aftermath of reality television fame.
