Sebastien Wielemans is a renowned Belgian filmmaker with a career spanning over two decades, directing and producing movies primarily in Europe, North America, and Africa since 2003.
In 2008, he garnered significant recognition for his short documentaries on social and environmental issues, winning the Big Prize at the Canadian web contest "Müvmedia".
Sebastien co-founded Grizzly Films, a Brussels-based production company, alongside Brieuc de Goussencourt in 2009, focusing on fiction and documentary projects.
His fascination with the impact of new online technologies led him to create "Connected Walls", a groundbreaking web documentary experience, for the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall in 2014. This project earned numerous accolades at various web festivals.
Throughout his career, Sebastien has directed three feature documentaries, including "Tchissete, the mirror of the Tuareg", "A cycle of fences", and "Nomad Solitude", which have received critical acclaim at numerous festivals.
Currently, Sebastien is primarily dedicated to fiction projects, having directed two short films as writer/director: "Sleeping Silence" and "Scent of White Hands".
