Concurrently, he pursued higher education through the correspondence department of the esteemed Radio Engineering Faculty of the renowned Novosibirsk Electrotechnical Institute, successfully completing his studies in 1988.

One of his most notable works is the 2008 film "Tulip", which achieved great acclaim by winning the top prize in the prestigious "Un Certain Regard" competition program at the renowned Cannes Film Festival.
