Shadoe Stevens embarked on his illustrious radio career at the remarkably young age of 11 in his hometown of Jamestown, North Dakota, a feat that would later earn him the esteemed title of "The World's Youngest Disc Jockey" and garner attention from the prestigious LIFE Magazine.

As he navigated his academic journey, Shadoe Stevens first graduated from high school before proceeding to the University of North Dakota, where he majored in Art for a period of three years. However, he eventually switched to a dual major of Drama and Journalism at the University of Arizona, a decision he made after spending two additional years at the institution.
