One of his most notable roles to date is that of Wangarra in The Secret River, a production he would go on to reprise not once, but twice, in 2017 and 2019, with the esteemed Sydney Theatre Company.
In addition to his work on The Secret River, Shaka has also made a significant impact on the stage, with a diverse range of credits that showcase his impressive versatility as a performer. For instance, he has played the role of Fingerbone Bill in the poignant production of Storm Boy, and has also brought Jasper Jones to life with his powerful performance in the eponymous play, presented by the Queensland Theatre Company.
Furthermore, Shaka's impressive repertoire includes a charming turn as the titular character in The Wind in the Willows, a delightful production presented by La Boite, as well as a critically-acclaimed performance in the powerful and thought-provoking Black Diggers, also presented by the Queensland Theatre Company.
