Shawn Hawkins is a multifaceted individual with a rich background in acting, music, and entrepreneurship. Born in Upstate New York, he began his journey as a talented guitar and mandolin player, as well as a skilled vocalist, leading various groups throughout his teenage years.
As he transitioned into adulthood, Shawn's passion for music led him to Nashville, Tennessee, where he pursued a career in the music industry. He spent several years touring the East Coast with a country/rock group, performing at numerous shows and events.
However, Shawn's interests eventually shifted towards acting, and he made the bold decision to switch from a two-year study of Music Business to the Theatre Department at Belmont University. He threw himself into his studies, building relationships with the theatre school and the film students at Watkins College next door, and worked tirelessly to build his resume and prepare for a post-graduate move to Los Angeles.
Upon graduating from Belmont University with a B.A. in Theatre and a minor in Business Administration, Shawn brought together his diverse skills and training to launch a successful outsourced photo editing company, Hawkins.png, which quickly reached six figures in its first year and continues to thrive.
Shawn is also working with his business partner to create and build their next venture in the wedding industry, a testament to his entrepreneurial spirit and ability to adapt to new challenges.
In addition to his business pursuits, Shawn has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry. He has acted regularly alongside his manager, Patty Stevens of Egg Hunt Ent., and Theatrical/Commercial rep, Carrie Park of the Park Artists Group. Over the past two years, he has booked over 12 leads in commercials, starred in an indie feature that earned him four best actor nominations and two wins, and even landed the lead role of Mirage in Netflix's Transformers: War for Cybertron trilogy, produced by Horseless Cowboy Productions.
Shawn's personal life is also filled with excitement, as he cherishes his relationship with musical artist, actress, and stunter, Sierra Heuermann.
As he looks to the future, Shawn is eager to take on new creative ventures and continue growing, learning, laughing, and loving. With his unique blend of talent, determination, and entrepreneurial spirit, it's clear that we can expect to see a lot more of Shawn Hawkins in the years to come.
